Your body has core needs for peak performance. Carb-BOOM! Electrolyte Sports Drink from Carb-BOOM provides these using an ideal concentration and blend of carbohydrates and 5 different electrolytes to give you optimal hydration, carbohydrate delivery and electrolyte replenishment during exercise. Carb-BOOM's Electrolyte Sports Drink contains the ideal carbohydrate concentration using a variety of carbohydrate sources. Sport drinks that contain a variety of carbohydrates are advantageous over drinks using only one type - a blend of carbohydrates optimizes oxidation, absorption, glycogen restoration, osmolality and taste.

Suggestions/Tips for Use
Athletes should aim to consume 20-40 oz of fluid and 60-70 grams of carbohydrates per hour to stay properly hydrated and fueled during exercise. These levels can be achieved through various combinations of sports drink, energy gels and water. For example:
- One liter of Hydro-BOOM! Electrolyte 5 provides 70 grams of carbohydrates and 33.8 ounces of fluid.
- One 20 oz bottle of Hydro-BOOM!, one Carb-BOOM! energy gel packet and one 20 oz bottle of water provides about 70 total grams of carbohydrates and 40 total ounces of fluid.
- One 8 oz cup of Hydro-BOOM!, two packets of Carb-BOOM! energy gel and one 24 oz bottle of water provides about 70 total grams of carbohydrates and 32 total ounces of fluid.
Experiment with these suggestions and/or your own ideas during training workouts in order to find a system that works best for you.
Lastly, don't forget about post-exercise recovery! Nutrition after exercise can be just as important to your performance as it is during exercise. We recommend consuming another 20-40 oz of fluid (as Hydro-BOOM!, water or a combination of the two) in the first hour after an intense exercise session. Consuming Hydro-BOOM! Electrolyte 5 Sports Drink alongside Pro-BOOM! Recovery gel is a great way to ensure an adequate supply of the key nutrients (carbohydrates, protein, electrolytes) responsible for optimizing the recovery process.
